History

Athos started in the SCA @ the age of 32 in May of 2012, he had been a long time dedicated player in foam combat games/sports prior to this since he was about 16.
Being from Seattle, his local land falls within the Barony of Madrone. He started attending their Wednesday night local fighter practice. A very welcoming group of guys, Sir Payne, Sir Athelred, Sir Heilyn, Sir Tim, Sir Stefan being some of the first and regulars to help get armored up and fighting.
Viscount Sir Stefan of Pembroke really connected with Athos as he started to really dive into the Heavy Combat. In October of 2012, Athos Accepted a Squire's belt from Sir Stefan.
Since that time Athos has done well for himself on the fighting fields and also accomplished himself more in the other aspects of the society. He has become a pretty good leather and wood worker, though by no means an expert. Athos submitted himself for the Sergeants Trials of Madrone and was brought in as a Heavy Sergeant during a Madrone event, Emprise of the Black Lion. It was at that same event that Sir (at the time, His Majesty) Styrkarr Jarlskald put Athos on vigil to be knighted at an event of his choosing.
Athos was Knighted @ 12th Night in January of 2015 AS XLIX (49).
Later that year, Athos won the right to be the Heavy Combat Champion of Madrone @ Emprise of the Black Lion, a year after he had been put on Vigil.
