Greetings,

Going through old emails. Found a post from Gordon Redthorn giving a bit of the timeline for Wyewood. Anyone who wants the info is free to grab it, please.

If I find more, I will post it here

Subject: [wyewood]: high points in the world of Wyewood...

In AS 26, Sybilla Penrose, seneschal of Port de L'eau started a social in the South End of the Barony, I helped her with it, because I thought it was a good idea. It was slow going that first year, sometimes it was just she and I sitting by ourselves.

In AS 28, I told the Barony that I was "officially" starting a group in the South County.

June of AS 30 we officially became "incipient" by the hand of Tjorkill and Elowyn

Early on the morning of 11, January AS 32 Brendan and Aryana recognized us officially as "the Canton of Wyewood"

And on June 16, AS 36 in the fading evening light, HRM Groa made Wyewood into a Shire.

Baron Timm asked me on Saturday Afternoon, "Is it going well? Are you satisfied with what is happening?"

and as I looked at the crowd of 50 or so Wyewoodians (and 20 or so Bubba's) who stood in line at court for our ceremony, I'd have to say, "Yes, I am."

And in the next ten years, what will happen? One day we stand again before the King and Queen to elevate a couple to become the Baron and Baroness (pearls, points and batwings on the coronet). One day we might get to carry a couple of our populace onto the Lion Throne.... will the guard at court all carry bubbas? The only thing that is certain, is we will be well fed in the process.

Gordon
