- Monkey house was created in 2002 by a group of like minded individuals living on Insula Magna mainly in the Shire of Hartwood
- While not specificly a service household, members have between them held at different times almost all the offices of the shire, with much overlap.
- Monkey House is nominaly led by Eideard of Oronsay& the Great and Powerful Mogg.
- active members include Lady Brigga of the Misty Isles, Lord Ucho, Boyarina [[Magdalina Voronova], Lord Oleg inn Havi, Lady Gwynna and Signora Marcella di Rossini
