At the Investiture of Vik V and Inga II, Master Hector of the Black Height, Laurel of the Bardic Arts, Master of the Pelican visited Avacal from the far eastern lands to beg a boon of Their Highnesses.  During Their first court, Master Hector strode forward, bearing an Axe. He called it the [[Axe of Heroes]]. His booming voice told the populace of a list of heroes, all who held the Axe knowing the Axe would rest finally on the belt of one Hero – [[Beothuk of the Beothuks|Beothuk]] of Avacal for his outstanding service to Viscountess Morrigan while she held the Throne of Avacal.
