Thegn Sir Rolf Longbow is an Eleventh Century Saxon who fought for Harold Godwinson and after the war traveled extensively in Europe. Rolf eventually returned to England and married into a Norman household to retain his land. He is an accomplished axe fighter and armorer, specializing in helmets, leather breastplates, and gauntlets.
Rolf is a member of the Order of Chivalry, a Lion of An Tir, a Court Baron, and he and Ashley Longbow of Newcastle are the founding Baron and Baroness of Vulcanfeldt. Together Ashley and Rolf have two children, Berengaria and Finn.
At the Coronation of Cedric and Elizabeth, Rolf was given high acclaim for his armoring, being given a Royal Appointment as an Armorer of Kings and having the right to augment his maker's mark with the Crown of An Tir.
