Persona background: Basilius and his family fled from Germany at the beginnings of the Protestant rebellion and resettled in Lisbon, Portugal. Basilius is training at University in Lisbon to become a jurist/lawyer in the court of King John III. He is married to HL Mecia Raposa, whose family runs an apothecary in Lisbon.
