Please Join Me in Congradulating
Viscount Matheus Bane our new Champion of Arts and Sciences.
I got to judge his Marionnette entry on Saturday, very well done and Entertaining, walking, saluting, bowing to the queen etc.
His Mail Coif tied for highest individual items score, and it certainly deserved a high score. His solution to flattening rings was inspired!
He did a research paper on the effects of various arrow head types striking armor, evoking highly emotional responces from several judges not only because of the excellence of the reasearch but because of the understanding on how easy these items would provide hideous wounds or death to individuals on the battle field.
And finally a riveted ring Nobility (or knights chain as we call it) with raised lettering on the rings, wow!.
Please join me in welcoming him, congragulating him, and knowing that he will be a great champion this year.
Master G (yes the paper was totally cool!)
