The Legend of the Sugar Crown

During the last reign of Duke Skeggi and Duchess Tasaii, HL Elianora de Cargow of Vulcanfeldt created a magnificent replica of His Majesty's Crown entirely out of sugar. It was made as an A&S entry for an event in Wastekeep. The Crown was given to Their Majesties, who kept it for many years.

One 12th Night, in approximately 2011, after having been on display in the A&S Room, the Sugar Crown went missing! No one knew what had become of it. HL Elianora diligently tried to find trace of the Crown with no luck. Then, just as mysteriously as it had disappeared, in reappeared during the Knight's Auction at 12th Night 2012.

As HL Eilanora had wished, The Crown was auctioned and the proceeds went to the Raven Travel fund. The winning bidder (Luaithrend) kept the Crown until 2014, when it was then transferred to the Canton of Bearwood in the Barony of Aquaterra as a "thank you" for their hospitality.

The Sugar Crown resided in Aquaterra until May Crown 2016, when it was presented to Their Royal Majesties Erik and Driffina and returned to the keeping of the Royal Chamberlain. It has now traveled to the 50 Year Celebration as testament to the prowess of the artisans of An Tir!
