SCA History
Rafny Garansdottir is the (SCA) daughter of Syr Garan Steingrimson called Darkwolf and Master Ellisif Angantyrsdottir. Her first event was a Summit's Defender Tourney in 1989. Her interests include glass bead making, food preservation and cooking, naughty bits in history/period pornography, Norse and later Scandinavian cultures, and early period research and technologies.
Rafny's persona is that of an early 10th Norse noblewoman, living on the Isle of Man at around 915 ce.
She occasionally dresses up as her own great-great-great-etc-granddaughter, a 14th century Norwegian woman.
Alternate persona: Domina Valentina Corva, Pompeii AD 71.
