I think this page is fantastic.  I've made three entries and emailed them to the riderless horse for inclusion on the physical lists.  I do have a question, after reviewing several entries I notice no specific standard.  A few list the passed gentles mundane name and date of birth.  Most don't - well most don't even have write-ups.  Is is OK to list a mundane name / date of birth?  I was unsure due to the privacy craze these days - however, at least DOB and mundane names are public knowledge in the USA where people who have passed and had a Social Security number (when SSA is notified) are entered into the Social Security Death Index that is open to the public.

Should the scroll of honor be added added as a category and recoded?  Every name already has a page and a new page is added for every name.

I would appreciate any info anyone might have about this name... There's an Isobel MacKenzie in Adiantum who's very much alive.  Please pardon my ignorance if this Isabell is someone else entirely...--[[User:Ravenqaraton|Ravenqaraton]] 03:47, 30 Jun 2007 (EDT)

I am not sure we need to link to this on the main page, but I wanted to keep it somewhere for reference.

See the discussion under Sigfied the Immane to understand how this page came about.

The physical scroll of honor was given to the Ladies of the Rose and Valerous Estate for their maintenace. The two efforts are now unified.

I've rewritten most of the introduction to include both the efforts of Aaron and Jacyntha in their work with this project. I particularly like the crescendo at the end!

A gentles mundane name / DOB

I think this page is fantastic. I've made three entries and emailed them to the riderless horse for inclusion on the physical lists. I do have a question, after reviewing several entries I notice no specific standard. A few list the passed gentles mundane name and date of birth. Most don't - well most don't even have write-ups. Is is OK to list a mundane name / date of birth? I was unsure due to the privacy craze these days - however, at least DOB and mundane names are public knowledge in the USA where people who have passed and had a Social Security number (when SSA is notified) are entered into the Social Security Death Index that is open to the public.

I'd like to know others thoughts on this.

Since many names were from the original scroll, we have no information regarding the person other than their name. For the purpose of the scroll that was sufficient. For the online scroll of honor, it would be nice if on the person's actual entry, to include their date of passing, their current and past groups, as well as any other persona names. Personally, I do have a concern regarding any information that could open a person up to identify theft, especially after death, and therefore would not recommend including a person's modern name, the modern name of their area, or date of birth.

Of course, I do not denote policy, just an opinion. --Kerije 18:39, 17 Jul 2006 (EDT)

Need to update page to include Riderless Horse Tassel Award. --Kerije 12:03, 4 May 2007 (EDT) Still needs to be done and clarified --Kerije 18:44, 4 Jan 2009 (PST)

Isabell McKenzie

I would appreciate any info anyone might have about this name... There's an Isobel MacKenzie in Adiantum who's very much alive. Please pardon my ignorance if this Isabell is someone else entirely...--Ravenqaraton 03:47, 30 Jun 2007 (EDT)
