One of the earliest active participants in medieval recreation, Sir Valtorr of Oslo started out as a member of the Markland Medieval Mercenaey Militia. In 1974, in Washington DC, Sir Valtorr joined and participated in MMMM for years until moving to Seattle, where he joined the SCA in 1979.
