The Arts & Sciences champion of the Principality of the [[Summits]].  The position is held for one year.  The Alpine Scholar is traditionally chosen through a competition (organized by the outgoing scholar) at [[Summits Winter Investiture]].  The regalia for the office is a hand-tooled leather baldric.  The Alpine Scholar has a place in the Principality Court of the [[Summits]] and gives one of the challenges during Principality Investitures.
