Notes from Their Royal Majesties Court
Founders Revel
Greetings, noble cousins!
The following business occured in the Founders Revel court of Their Royal Majesties, Wilam and Siobhan, King and Queen of An Tir, in the Barony of Stromgard, on the second day of February being anno societatus thirty six.
Present in court with Their Majesties, was Durin, Prince of the Summits, Their Excellencies of Stromgard and Their Excellencies of Three Mountains.
The first order of business brought forth the Kingdom Protector, Lord Attila Gyory Sandor to swear fealty to Their Majesties. (He had been unable to attend 12th Night)
Their Majesties caused Grainne ingen Lochlainn to be called forth and well pleased with her, they awarded her arms. Huzzah for Lady Grainne!
The children of Black Arrow's Keep (oh so cute!) came forward and made a presentation to Their Royal Majesties and were in turn gifted with tokens of the Royal regard.
Ninian of Warwick was called forth to kneel before Their Majesties, whereupon she was awarded arms. Huzzah for Lady Ninian!
Her Grace Hlutwige, Royal Scribe for many, many past reigns had business. She called the names of gentles who had been given awards but had never received the hand painted charters crafted for them. Three scrolls were united with their owners.
Lady Aine ingen Domnaill was commanded to come forth into Royal court. Well pleased with Lady Aine's effort and service to the Kingdom of An Tir, they chose to admit her to the Order of the Goutte de Sang! Congratulations to Her Ladyship!
Roswitha the Saxon was awarded arms and judging from the reaction of the populace, it was both well deserved and well-received. A joyous noise for Lady Roswitha!
The next order of business was to admit Elwin the Bowman to the right noble Order of the Jambe de Lion. From all appearances, the new honorable lord was well pleased to receive this honor for the hand of Their Majesties. Well-deserved, Your Lordship.
Escorted into the Presence by husband and son, Elise ingen Tomais was recognized for her contribution to the barony and kingdom and was awarded arms! Huzzah for Lady Elise!
His Majesty caused Arik Longarm to be called forth for admittance to the Order of the Pelican. His Lordship Arik chose to stand vigil until [[War College]]. A general invitation was extended to attend the "official" vigil of Arik the friday night of War College weekend.
An award of arms was bestowed upon the Joyce of Black Arrow Keep. Huzzah for Lady Joyce!
Isrith inn Glodi was called forth to kneel before Their Majesties. His Majesty displayed a tunic, beautifully embellished by the hand of this amazing woman to enhance and demonstrate the glory of the Crown of An Tir as they travel south to battle... Er, but I digress. Their Royal Majesties Wilam and Siobhan caused Isrith to be admitted to the noble Order of the Goutte de Sang! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!
Well pleased with the efforts of Their subject, Murcadh dal Cais, Their Majesties were minded to admit him to the Order of the Goutte de Sang. Huzzah for the new honorable lord!
His Majesties again called forth the members of the Order of the Pelican and informed them of his feelings in that matter of a person missing from their ranks. He then extended His hand to Elizabeth Llandaff, Baroness of Three Mountains, and personally escorted her to kneel before He and His Queen. Her Excellency Elizabeth chose to stand vigil until War College. A general invitation was extended to visit the Baroness at May Champions (May 4th) in the Barony of Three Mountains were she would be released from her apprenticeship to Dame Eleanor.
As the final bits of business, King Wilam and Queen Siobhan presented the event autocrat, Madonna Contessa Ilaria, with gifts in appreciation of the very enjoyable event and the wonderful food. King Wilam then drew from a bag, a beautiful necklace and gifted it to his hostess, Miranda, Baroness of Stromgard, as well as another small bag of amber bits to use as she sees fit.
And so ended the court of Wilam and Siobhan, undoubted King and Queen of An Tir! An Tir! An Tir! An Tir!
