Scanning An Tir

A project created by Sir Richard Fergus Fitzalan to digitize old print photos, slides, negatives, publications, and documents of An Tir’s early days. Over 60,000 images have been scanned.

If you have old print photos, slides, or negatives of An Tir people and events please contact Sir Richard to arrange having them scanned and preserved, for free.

As an experiment, several photos are being posted in the Gallery here in hopes others will add captions and use them in other entries. All those posted here have been granted written permission for public sharing by their owners as part of participating in the Scanning An Tir project.
