The [[Rivers Region]] consisted of an organized group of branches in Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington along the I-5 Cooridor with the intent of possibly forming into a principality.  It was disbanded when regions were deemed void, circa 2001.

* October AS XIX/1984 the first stirrings of several branches along the I-5 corridor began hoping to eventually form a principality.  Interested branches at the time included the Shire of [[River's Bend]], Shire of [[Stromgard]], the Barony of [[Three Mountains]] and its Canton of [[Terra Pomaria]], the Shire of [[Dragon's Mist]],  Shire of [[Coeur du Val]], and the Shire of [[Gryphonsward]].

* In June 1998 the branches affiliated with the Rivers Region were [[Coeur du Val]], [[Dragon's Mist]], [[Fire Mountain Keep]], [[Mountain Edge]], [[Corvaria]] (then unorganized Kings Land centered in Bend, OR), [[Stromgard]], [[Terra Pomaria]] and [[Three Mountains]].
* At [[Crown Council]] in March 2002 the Rivers Region along with the [[Western Region]] and [[Inlands Region]] were formally dissolved. Official announcement was to appear in the May edition of ''[[The Crier]]''. The only official recognition that was ever to be given to the regions was for reporting purposes.
* [[Summits Summer Investiture XXXVII/2002]] three former branches of the Rivers Region were formally recognized after a polling in November-December 2001 to join [[The Summits]]. Those branches were [[Dun an Chalaidh]], [[Coeur du Val]] and [[Terra Pomaria]].
