Evan Dunbar
Evan (Eobhan) Dunbar
Evan attended his first SCA event in 1997 as a crew member of the Goode Ship St. Ireny. Since 2009 he has been a member of the River Dragons, and currently resides in the Barony Of Adiantum. In 2011 he was awarded Arms at Grand Thing VI by TRM Skeggi and Tasiia, and was soon thereafter taken as an arcuarius to Archos Vadas Ersebet of the Barony of Three Mountains. Later that year, Evan became the last Archery Defender of the Shire of Dragon's Mist, which was elevated to Baronial Status in September 2011. He finished the year in the An Tir Top Ten for the Royal Round for the first time, finishing 5th in both the Longbow and Open divisions in 2011 and achieving a rank of Grand Master in the Open Division. He has continued to place in the Top Ten in both divisions each year since, as well as in the Top 5 of the world-wide Inter-Kingdom Archery Competition (IKAC) since 2014.
In 2012, at July Coronation, Evan became An Tir's 21st Kingdom Protector, defeating a field of 15 to claim his place as An Tir's Archery Champion.
At An Tir Twelfth Night in 2015 Evan was inducted into the Order of the Grey Goose Shaft, and in May 2016 into the Order of the Goutte de Sang. At Egil's 47 (May 2019), he stepped up as the ninth Baron of Adiantum.
