Good Greetings unto the populace of Tir Righ,
Let it be known unto all that this day, Amira Celdae, on behalf of Their Royal Majesties, King Skapti and Queen Asa awarded:

Her Highness Amira Celdae presented the following awards granted during the reign of Their Royal Majesties, Gunnarr and Gabriell to:

The proud fighters of Danescombe appeared on the field of Roses, The victorious winners of Danescombe’s Tournament of Roses are:
Rapier Fighter - Rhaudhri Silverhand and his inspiration Gabrielle Silverhand Heavy Fighter - HL Thorin Olaffson and his inspiration Mistress Yrsa Kettilsdottir
A dozen roses were presented to each fighter’s lady and inspiration, the bouquets complimented by tablet weaving braid by Finna Kettilsdottir. Amira Celdae spoke to the populace gathered, that chivalry and etiquette are important reminders of the spirit of Tir Righ. Setting examples of chivalry and etiquette serve as a model for others to act in the same noble manner. Amira Celdae asked the populace to serve others, as they themselves would like to be served.
Tokens of noble etiquette and chivalry were presented to:
Lord Durant Ramberti Caiaphus for Rapier Fighter Chivalry and Etiquette received a feather Amira Celdae brought from Estrella Wars Lord Corwin of the Rocky Isle for Heavy Fighter Chivalry received a blue beaded necklace.
Cate of Danescombe also received a feather from Amira Celdae as a token of her gracious assistance which she gave at various points during the Tournament of Roses.
Lord Durant Ramberti Caiaphus then presented his feather to his lady and his inspiration as it was she who inspired him to conduct himself so chivalrously.
Caleb, three year-old son of Mistress Yrsa Kettilsdottir and His Lordship Thorrin Olaffson of Danescombe was a sweet example of chivalry. On Saturday morning of the Tournament, Caleb was witnessed entering the sleeping quarters of Amira Celdae and kissed his Princess awake from Her sleep. Nadia of Danescombe presented herself before Amira Celdae and asked Her Highness if she could be of service. Being of a very young age, she excelled herself admirably and handed Amira Celdae largesse tokens to award recipients. Nadia received a blue largesse necklace in token of her service from Amira Celdae. Chivalry in Tir Righ, begins even with the youngest of subjects.
Amira Celdae brought forth those first and second timers who have attended SCA events in Danescombe. Understanding without the new members who come to the SCA, the SCA would not continue to grow and thrive. Whatever aspect of the SCA caught the newcomer’s eye, their attendance should be acknowledged. Sea shells from the shores of Tir Righ presented by Amira Celdae as a token of appreciation for attendance, and in the hope of their continued support of the SCA.
The A&S competition sponsored by Mistress Yrsa Kettilsdottir produced wonderful examples of the artistry alive and thriving in Danescombe.
Lady Una donated heart shaped glass decanters filled with candies as awards to the A&S Champions of the Tournament of Roses.

Their Highnesses extend Their Congratulations to all Champions who presented themselves, Fighters and Artists alike.
It was announced by Naomi, a meeting at Mistress Yrs Kettisldottir’s and HL Thorrin Olaffson’s to discuss forming the Shire of Danescombe into a Barony. Sunday, February 29th/ AS 38 2:00 p.m. All are welcome.
The war drums are sounding in the North! Lord Rhaudhri Silverhand made the shocking announcement that a band of marauding Scotsmen from Dreadgate have invaded the Shire of Krakenfjord in search of wives, and made off with their sheep! Lord Rhaudhri noted that it is very hard to survive when their sheep have been dragged off to the altar!
Thus be it known that war has been declared between Krakenfjord and Dreadgate on June 4-5 AS 38 weekend. Heavy, Rapier lists will be announced, there will be an A&S competition.
The evening progressed with a marvellous potluck feast, followed by enthusiastic bellydance performances in tribal and Egyptian folkloric styles. Bracelets were given to the dancers as tokens of appreciation by Amira Celdae for the delightful entertainment presented.
Autocrat Finna Kettilsdottir spoken to those gathered and thanked her staff for a job well done. Finna acknowledged that without the team effort made to host the Tournament of Roses, it never could have happened. Finna and Team, thank you for such a wonderful job hosting the Tournament of Roses. Hooray!
Concluding the feast, Her Royal Highness Amira Celdae gave to Her subjects a beautiful and graceful Middle Eastern dance performance to “The Mystic’s Dream” by Loreena McKennitt. Joined by Her Royal Secretary, dancers of Danescombe and eager young children. The evening’s festivities concluded with a celebration of song and dance in the spirit of Tir Righ.
