As in the past, a great little war. About 15-20 per side, with lots of interesting scenarios. Open field, champions battle, bridge battle - those were pretty standard (but fun), although the bridge battle was 10-min timed, with a marshal deciding who held the center each minute, to determine who won. A marsh battle with a "treasure chest" in the center - the Marsh consisted of four large rectangles of water, not evenly aligned, to represent multiple paths through and around. The chest was a hay bale with handles. A few battles with limits - one 6' weapon and under, one with no shields. A city battle, with three building containing sack of food that were each worth an extra resurrection in the castle battles. And finally, two castle battles - timed, switching sides.

It was a lot of fighting, with 5 minute breaks (really, 5-10 or so) between scenarios. I so wanted to rest up, but didn't skip any, as the fighting was close and the scenarios interesting. By the end it was down to about 10 per side. It looked at first that the side I was fighting for, Aquaterra, was going to run away with the war points - having only lost the champions battle. But, they lost several towards the end to the hosts, Thornwood (Shittemwoode), so it ended up a tie. I was one of two that switched sides part way to even the numbers, and never did get a good hit on my clan mates.

Stayed also (while recovering) for a fun little bardic competition. The whole event was very low key, and friendly. --Michelino di Gino Martini 10:09, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
