Vindr'bek

Vindrbek or the "Windy Peninsula" is A houshold founded in 2008 by 7 folks who wanted to be more apart of the game. Today Vindrbek has roughly 45 members, who are generally located on the northern side of the columbia river gorge, with in the Barony of Stromgard.

The houshold refered to as a Haim, is losly based on a 6th C. Frankish village regulated by early Germanic traditional governance.

Vindrbek is lead by an elected Erilaz (District leader)who is assisted by An Aelderman (Senior Advisor) And Reeve (Assistant administrator). Both of these positions are administrative only and are appointed by the Erilaz.

The Village device is Green and Orange Round partitioned with a Fir tree Centered over a Starburst sun, with Waves bellow and winds on the side. Our Motto is "Truth Prevails"

The majority of Vindrbek villagers live with in the Barony of Stromgard and most have pledged fealty to its Baron and Baroness. Vindrbeks first loyalty lays with Stromgard.

Vindrbek also has a Warband element called the Vindrbek Gefolge (Warband). This warband although loyal to Vindrbek and Stromgard is indipendent of outside controls and operates under the traditional Germanic practices of the Democratic comitatus. Its Emblem is the Crow, and its Cry An-cah, "Fight On"

Vindrbek lives togather by a simple code; Give no knowing offense, keep the peace and treat others as your neighbor.
