Introduction

When Lucas joined The SCA in 2000, he immediately became an active member of the Terra Pomaria Community where he started his journey of service at the local, principality, and kingdom levels. While he has served as event steward, filled event staff roles, created period art to share, acted as scribe, taught classes, served as local and Principality officers, and participated in multiple baronial, principality, and kingdom level retinues. Since joining the society, Lucas has also worked to foster the game and develop his skill in the arts through the creation of period shoes. Lucas is generous with his talents and has provided many of his shoes for reign garb, peerage ceremonies, and auction donations.

After returning to the SCA after a break he jumped back into service and devotion to the royal persona of the kingdom. Lucas has volunteered as event staff at multiple events, served on two principality retinues, provided support at every clean-up day and planning event available, and donated a pair of custom shoes to the peerage auction, collecting $350 in support of the cause. As a family, he and his wife Adrian and children, Neva and Drvecc, have provided service and supported the ideals of the game every day since returning last year.

Terra Pomaria is his home, and he wouldn’t be the person he is without the support of this Barony. Most of his chosen family, House Aequa Domas, reside within the boundaries that he will always call home as well as several Peers (both Royal and Order) that have offered their support and counsel. Lucas has the need to learn something new every day and has a “see a need, fill a need” personality so you will always find him volunteering at events or offering to help in whatever way possible.
