Traditionally the event has been held in late September or early October. The third annual event formed in the history of the Barony of Terra Pomaria, the first occasion was held while the branch was still a canton of Three Mountains in 1985; the last to date in 2003, it being suspended thereafter due to immenient financial and human resource concerns. Plans to revive the event are pending in the near future.

During a period of slow growth, roughly AS XXI/1986 - XXII/1987, there was no Terra Pomaria Autumn Event held. The most common reason given by those who remember those days was due to the lack of participating populace in the then newly formed shire.
