Robbin Greybeard helped me in my first couple of years in the SCA by purchasing hides from an Idaho company, the price was about 1/5th of the Tandy price.
I chatted with him for about 45 minutes the weekend before he passed from us. He was always a worthwhile person to talk with.

I was fortunate enough to take two Ithra classes from Baron Master Robbin and his love of the subject matter (medieval games) and learning in general shone through. I remember his sense of humor and the sense of serenity and safety that followed him. I wept when I heard of his passing.
