Any person who is new to the SCA is called a newcomer - sometimes a newbie, newb, or NOOB.

New is a relative term, usually encompassing the first few years of regular participation in SCA activities. The SCA is its own culture -- there's a lot to learn.

If you are a newcomer (or even just someone new to this kingdom, you should contac your local Chatelaine who is responsible for guiding newcomers on their journey to become members of the populace.
