When Spring comes to all corners of the Kingdom of An Tir, the highlands of Dregate will proudly host the tournament to choose the successors to the thrones.

Events shall include the Crown Tournament, Squires' Tournament, rapier tournaments, archery competitions and arts and sciences.

Dates

Gate opens at 3pm Friday, May 18, through 6pm Sunday, May 20.

Site Fees

Adults: $15 Youth (6-17): $10 Children 5 and under: free Family Cap (mundanely related): $50 Non-Member Surcharge of $5.00 applies Make checks payable to: SCA, Inc. Shire of Dregate

About the site

The site is large and relatively level (nearly 80 acres), primitive, with a backdrop of the Okanogan hills and sweeping view of the valley, offers no modern intrusions to the eye.

Weather in May is fair, with average highs of 73 and average lows of 44 in Tonasket, the nearest town. Site elevation is approximately 2,800 ft (853 m), so prepare for bright days and cold nights.

There are four water wells which can provide wash water, but no electricity or RV hookups. There is no cell phone reception.

No group camping reservations for this event. RV's are welcome, but no hook ups available.

Site Rules

Participants shall not violate any state, federal or local laws, nor commit any nuisance or damage upon the premises. Pets are welcome; rigorous waste patrol required! Due to the risk of noxious weed contamination, there will be no equestrian activities on site.

Items that cannot easily be recycled or composted, such as glow sticks, styrofoam and plastic silverware are prohibited. Recycling stations are planned; all garbage will be “pack it in, pack it out.”

Noblesse Oblige

Got extra packaged non-perishable food you don't want to cart home after Crown? The Event Steward Team is sponsoring a non-perishable food drive to benefit the local food bank. Look for donation bins at Gate.

Merchants

There is no additional fee for merchants, however, donations to Royal Largesse are requested. Pre-registration is required.

Directions

Make your best way to the town of Tonasket (at the intersection of Highways 97 and 20. Turn East onto Highway 20. (follow the SCA signs) Drive 11.7 miles, then turn left onto Cayuse Mountain Road (well-maintained gravel from here on). At the intersection of Cayuse Mountain Road and West Cayuse Mountain Road, bear LEFT Continue onto Island Mountain Road
