  • Lionel first starting playing in the Barony of Terra Pomaria around December AS XXIV/1989 joining along with his Lady Wife Judith de Bruges.
  • He was a participating member of the Terra Pomaria populace when the branch transitioned from shire to barony status in AS XXVI/XXVII 1991/1992.
  • Received his Award of Arms January 12 AS XXV/1991.
  • Inducted into the Order of the Jambe de Lion September 14 AS XXVI/1991.
  • Lionel is accredited as being an actual woodworker who crafted several projects including the chairs of the Baron and Baroness of Terra Pomaria in use from AS XXVII/1992 until present serving three sets of Barons and Baronesses. When the original Baroness's chair was destroyed by accident, Lionel made a replica to replace it.
  • He was the simultaneously first inductee into the Order of the White Scroll on February 20 at the Festival of the Melting Icicles XXVII/1993 with his lady wife Judith de Bruges. The order is the highest and most esteemed for service to the barony.
  • He was given the Silver Apple service award of Terra Pomaria on April 17 AS XXVII/1993.
  • Lionel was once holder of the office the Minister of Arts and Sciences in the Barony of Terra Pomaria.
  • By AS XXXVII/2002 he and his wife had retired from active life in the SCA. They made "guest appearances" that year at Ducal War XXXVII and the 20/10 Anniversary Revel of Terra Pomaria.
  • He is the mundane father of fellow SCAdians Finna Grimsdottir and Jeane Chantal la Bouviere.
