Iaian Dughal Mentieth

Iain (proper spelling) first joined the Society in 1985 while stationed in the army in El Paso, TX. He spent a year exploring the wonders of the Outlands before moving north to his home kingdom of An Tir, where he helped found the short lived shire of Griffynsmist in A.S. XXII. In A.S. XXIV Iain left the known world to study in quiet solitude the mysteries of life. In A.S. XXVI he returned to the Known World after meeting his future wife, Sadie N'ottoman. Together they traveled most of An Tir and even managed to visit many of the other kingdoms and found time to attend Pennsic XXVII. After returning to his beloved An Tir he was squired to Duke Sir James Greyhelm and began to learn the arts of war. Already an accomplished dancer and beginning musician, this seemed the next logical step.
