Heilyn de Highwater
Heilyn is well-loved by his community, as he is a hardworking and pleasant person who is constantly giving back to his local group and his Kingdom. He's a trained heavy fighter, squired to Duke Thorin Njalsson, sponsoring the local fight practice every Friday night for years. This fight practice is renown as a great place to learn fighting skills as well as fight at tourney speed. The practice usually draws fighting talent to help teach, and in addition, if you get stuck or need help, Heilyn is quick to teach you skills, help you repair your armor on the spot, or even make a new suit. He's also a responsible and thorough marshal.
In addition, he's called the "Engineering Squire" because he uses his engineering mind to learn new things rapidly, such as building a gypsy trailer, learning to tie period flies for fishing, and building the occasional siege weapon. He also is a talented bard, and a Bardic Champion of the Barony of Madrone.
Reliable and with a quick wit, Heilyn is a shining example of the quality of the people in An Tir. He's inspired by his beautiful and talented wife, Madhu, and their energetic son, Gannon, also a squire to Duke Thorin (and his youngest squire too!).
