I joined the society in January 1990 after seeing a couple of men in kilts at a club fair at Western Washington University's campus. My first event was Sir Edward's tournament, at which King Thorin and Queen Angharad were in attendance. I chose the name Eireann Cassanda Perrin as my first name, then quickly changed it to Eibhlin Fiadhros ni Deoradhain. Deciding I was never going to really learn Irish, I changed to a more familiar language (but barely) Helene de Navarre. This was also a nod to the household that I was member of for a few years, with matriarch HL Zenobia du Navarre.

More recently, I have submitted a name and device to the Heralds (it's about time...after 15 years!) for the name Elewys Cuylter of Finchingfield, and the arms: Per bend sinister vert and lozengy vert and argent, in chief an open pair of scissors argent, open to dexter.

In 1996, I swore fealty to Ariel de Courtenay, then apprenticed to Elisabeth Piper, Mistress of the Laurel. Upon Ariel's elevation to the Laurel, I became her senior apprentice.

I have been active in the Shire of Shittimwoode, holding offices in the College of Wisdom's Keep as Seneschal, and Shittimwoode offices of Chatelaine, Stock Clerk, Chronicler, Exchequer, and Gold Key...some of them at the same time. In January 2005, I was elevated by the Regents of Ithra to the station of Chancellor of Ithra at the new Borderlands Ithra campus. I have run a dozen successful sessions since 2005.

In April 2005, I was honored by being admitted into the Order of the Red Flame of Tir Righ, by Prince Ulf and Princess Bernadette.

In Fall of 2007, I moved from the Shire of Shittimwoode to the Barony of Aquaterra and quickly became the Minister of Arts and Sciences there.
