Hail An Tir!

The time has come again to celebrate Yule and to honor and pay tribute to our noble Baron Steinolf, and his virtuous Baroness, Sinedin.

This year we are attempting something very unique. We will be celebrating the 9th c.Varangian Rus cultures, along with Norse elements. We will be attempting to combine historic accuracy with the SCA traditions. Because of the uniqueness of this event, it is sure to be exciting and fun. Come and witness the combination of historic Norse and Slavic cultures mixed with the SCA at large. It is a spectacle not to be missed.

During the day, we will have dancing and socializing. We will be having dancing instruction taught by the amazing Master Traehern. Following the dance instruction will be a Ball to show off your new dancing skills.

Once the Ball is over, our Baron will open his Meadhall and feasting will begin. Maestra Fiamma the Unquenchable has graciously agreed to use her amazing culinary skills for us.

We will be at the Stillaguamish Grange hall in Stanwood this year.

We have limited seating for the feast, and it is first come, first serve. Feasting off board is allowed. For reservations please contact Her Excellency Baroness Arianne.

No feast or dance is complete without wonderful bards of all types! For those interested in performing, contact HL Soelig Sweteglee. Please note that we want the entertainment to flow with the theme of the event, and ask that either you have a piece that is culturally appropriate, or that you perform as the “charecter” that fits the piece. For example, if you are singing a beautiful Irish song, that you also appear as Irish as you can be. For questions please contact HL Soelig Sweeteglee.
