Longer research interests list:

I'd call myself an expert in: Medieval English food and cooking, the intersection between food and social class, England between 1250 and 1350, women's history and daily lives, working women in York in the 13th and 14th centuries, and medieval English peasants and commoners.

I also know about: Historical food and cooking generally, urban history and medieval urbanization, 13th and early 14th c. clothing and dress accessories, silly hats, and illumination / manuscripts (I probably know the most about 15th and early 16th century manuscripts from French workshops).

I am also interested in: Studying medieval history through a progressive feminist / queer lens, the history of medicine, studying the history of science and the science of history, experimental archeology, Iron Age Britain, and honestly just about everything else. I am very excitable.
