Eoghan Ua Cléirigh was born in Connacht in 991 AD in the household of his parents who lead the Túath. He would have started learning to manage the family's land at an early age, raising cattle and learning to fight. As a teen and young adult he would have ranged out with other youths as part of one of the many fianna, until the death of his father and he inherited his land. He then married Muirenn with whom they had two children, one son and one daughter.

2022

• First Event: Egil's Tourney.
• Archery and Thrown Weapon practices: countless throughout the year
• A&S meet ups: I made it to as many as I could of the zoom meetings. I believe we made it to all of Ailanthus’s pilgrimage A&S meets and walked the pilgrimage itself!
• Egils: we helped with most of the set-up days. Began relationships with the Rose and Thistle household. Spent most of my time at the archery range or the Thrown Weapons range.
• Spring Coronation.
• Long and Short of It: Onòra won the youth archery championship!
• Coronet: we camped with Alejandro, Zab, and Sir Morgan and were able to witness Weylon and Lindis’s win!
• Guard: spent several shifts throughout Weylyn's reign as guard.
• TP Event in Turner
• Authorized as a Junior marshal in archery and TW.
• Coronation: I was awarded an Martial Grail of the Summits for my work with the Archery and TW community.
• November Council Stepped up as TW Marshal of the Barony.
• Yule: I created lots of activities for the kids including mittens, activity booklet, instrument parade, and paper crown making for the royals (Theign Clovis has continued to wear his since! ) I was also awarded Adiantum’s Baronial Brownie!

2023

• Started fighting.
• Got authorized as a fighter and junior marshal.
• Twelfth Night: LOTS of setup.
• Birthday Bash: Set up day before and day of. I invited some new families who took Dame Johanna’s class. Presented my letter of intent to partake in Sargentry Trials.
• Coronet and Moot, served as guard.
• A&S: Easter and a couple other meetings at Quinn and Leadan’s.
• April 22nd: Bar Games in Terra Pomeria. In the evening court, both Muirenn and I were called up and awarded our AOAs by Prince Weylyn and Princess Lindis.
• Egils: Area lead for the TW range. Almost all park clean, step building days. LOTS of set up and tear down. Competed in three pillars with Holmgang, thrown weapons, TW marshaling, Egil's tourney marshal, Court Heralding, costuming, Scribal arts, voyage cooking, teaching (Intro to Thrown Weapons), and set up. And I won costuming. John Wayland took me on as an Arcuarius.
• June Investiture: simply attended and watched kids. Leading up, I supposed Onóra as she crafted blue paper crowns for the Weylyn and Lindis
• An Tir West War: We camped all week. I fought with the Summits Army the first day and the last, an armor malfunction kept me off the field the middle day. Our family got to help deliver cookies to the queen of the West. Under his direction, we also helped instigate the “bombing” of the West’s outhouses with balloons holding individual lights. I was able to take a couple classes.
• July 21st: we helped at the Lane County Fair Demo. I set out a display of natural paints and let people come through and test them out. It was so much fun talking with folks and seeing their excitement about the colors!
• Long and Short: I fought in the morning. After our potluck lunch, Onóra and I set up targets for the youth archery championship. I helped her prep her toilet paper themed shoot and she pulled it off beautifully. She also made little leather favors for every competitor. Competed in both the archery and TW championships and won the TW championship stepping up at court as TP's TW champion.
• Aug 26th: we tried to go to Briaroak Bash, but right after we arrived, they had to cancel it due to a nearby wildfire. There was much disappointment, but those of us who were there drove out to Quinn and Leann’s house where we visited, had a potluck, and helped the kids craft hobby horses.
• Art in the Park: Helped out with set up and tear down. Assisted throughout the demo with talking with folks and helping people try on armor.
• Sep 20th: Supported Muirenn in her endeavor to do a scribal night.
• Sep 23rd: Highlight A&S outing to Mount Angel to see their Manuscripts!
• Apple Cider Party at our home. Not technically SCA, but most of those gathered were also members and the processes were period. To avoid waste, the scraps were made into vinegar, fruit leather, apple sauce, and jelly.
• Got authorized as a senior marshal in both Archery and TW.
• Master Quinn Phelan asked me to be his Apprentice, we decided to have a trial run with me as a student.
• Oct. 14th: Flash Demo at Island Park: Helped with set-up and potluck. Demoed fighting.
• Oct. 18th: assisted Muirenn with the second Gathering of the Scribes! We began designing the new Baronial Brownie Charter.
• Martinmas: Fought in the Adiantum Baronial Heavy Defender Championship.
• November: We held our third Gathering of the scribes with 13 people and played Telestrations and Tori was our guest speaker talking about Gothic Script.
• Wordsmithed for the champion step down awards and transliterated one into Linear B!
• Dec 8-9: Eleventh Night Coronation: Heralded the Captain of the Cats championship.

Through this year we also attended multiple archery/thrown weapons practices, fighter practices, work parties, household potlucks, and A&S gatherings as well.

2024

January Supported Muirenn with Gathering of the Scribes: since Yseult was out of town, we met at my house this month to eat tacos, paint charters, and make wax seals. We had five painters in total and accomplished much in preparation for Midwinters.
