It was 1983, and there she was, a simple student at Washington State University, when she received an invitation to the Lentil War. Borrowing a costume from friends, she attended the feast following the war and found herself seated next to two attractive young men, a blond fellow who said he was Earl Torgul Bahadur, and the other, his squire Dak Ulfredsson.
And while she enjoyed the conversation at the feast, it was later that evening when she first saw Dyon De Montel and Catriona of Rathcrogan in resplendent houppeland attire, she knew that she would be coming back again.
The Fates alone could foresee the future: a Crown and a Kingdom to be hers.
