• By definition, Chroniclers are people who write accounts of important or historical events. In the SCA, Branch Chroniclers ensure news for their area is dispersed to the populace; this is achieved through the branch's newsletter.
• Baronies and higher require a quarterly newsletter. Kingdom newsletters are published monthly.
• The Kingdom newsletter also acts as a channel for official announcements such as Royal Announcements or changes in Kingdom and Society law.
• Anyone can submit articles, photos, or other creative works for inclusion in their branch's (or Kingdom) newsletter.
• An Tir's Kingdom newsletter is called The Crier.
