- Aveloc the Younger's modern name is Harvey Palmer.
- According to the Board Minutes of Oct 2002, his R&D was issued at the January 2002 Board meeting. (At the time of writing the January 2002 Board Minutes were not available online.)
- Possibly the only R&D ever instigated and carried out soley at the Corporate level - the Crown and Kingdom of An Tir did not officially ever call for an R&D.
- No official list of reasons have ever been given by the Corporation regarding this R&D. There was a list of 14 'Charges' initially given by the Corporation which are either disputed by Aveloc's supporters, or claimed to have been proven incorrect or fabricated.
- After exhausting all avenues within the Corporation, a mundane lawsuit was eventually filed that attempted to force the Society to repeal the R&D. The case was dropped, and although the SCA paid Aveloc's legal fees as well as additional compensation, neither party admitted fault.
- This issue remains one of contention.
