- Possibly the only R&D ever instigated and carried out soley at the Corporate level. The Crown and Kingdom of An Tir did not officially ever call for an R&D. - After exhasting all avenues within the Corporation, a mundane lawsuit was eventually filed that attempted to force the Society to repeal the R&D. The case was dropped, and although the SCA paid Aveloc's legal fees as well as additional compensation, neither party admitted fault.
- There is still some hope by the people who care for Aveloc that the BoD will re-visit the R&D and consider re-instatment. This hope is not held by all but is in fact quite the opposite.
