2011 Jul 12

As you may have noticed the Wiki is under fairly heavy assault from spammers right now. The captcha is not preventing them from registering (although it is preventing a lot of automated spam attempts, that you never see). We are currently reviewing options to limit spammers further. This may have some minor impact on new users of the site, which is regrettable, but necessary. -----Krenn 09:08, 12 July 2011 (PDT)

  • Updated reCaptcha configuration to make it work under this version instead of silently failing, so that it'll block spammers.
