Alicia du Bois is a late 14th Century woman living in England. She grew up the daughter of a wool merchant and was lucky enough to be taught to read and write. When she married her husband took over the family business. He is always off traveling and may have been lost at sea. She has two children, Elizabeth (Bee) and Jamie. She enjoys a comfortable life as a minor noble and sometime court retainer. She has served as Royal Scribe for King Havordh Aettebani and Queen Mary-Grace of Gaitland and for King Styrkarr Jarlskald II and Queen Dagrun Stjarna II. Her particular passion is lettering (calligraphy) and she loves to teach others how to make beautiful letters. She is also an accomplished seamstress, embroiderer, and loves to dance. She is apprenticed to Mistress Annisa Gabrielli and currently resides in the Barony of Madrone. She is a member of the household Chateau fin du Monde.
