Personal Memories
The thing I worried about the most with this event was whether the combination of 40 year bumping Tir Righ Coronet which bumped us to the front of April would blast Eddy's as a camping event. I had visions of 50 people showing up to an event with a break even number of 300!
Needless to say, my worries were unfounded. Over 400 people came and had a great time! Prince Ulf's transmission broke on the way to the event, leaving Princess Amanda to handle the Royal duties. And of course, she did with aplomb! One of my lasting memories of the SCA will be getting to sit next to her at the high table and just talk about the stories she knows about the history of our society. As a bard, it was a dream to be able to do so! --Quentin 21:49, 15 May 2006 (EDT)
