In case of peerage

In Case of Peerage a.k.a. In Case of Elevation is a document that it is recommended to make (and update) in case you receive a peerage level award. The idea is to make you think ahead about how you might like things for your elevation ceremony, and to relieve potential stress when you might be a little too awestruck to coherently think about it.

It is of course just a suggestion, although I've heard some peers do encourage their students/protogeges/squires/etc. to have one handy. Ideally, it should be in a publicly accessible place so that the crown and friends can see it when planning to offer a peerage award, but it could also be privately kept and just referred to or released once an award is in the offing.

Sword of state, crowns, orb, hands or person of the Crown are most common options. Stuff Elevation Garb: Persona options? Time/Place/Style? Materials/Colors? Artisans, if available?
