Personal Memories

(Add your personal event memories here. End them with a blank line, four dashes and another blank line. Don't forget to sign them with dash-dash-tildex3. Reminder: it's considered VERY rude to edit someone else's memories.)

My first Clinton was the year they had the coldest and wettest summer in 50 yrs. It was also the first war I ever went to. I came home with frost bite on my toes that took 3 yrs to fully regain feeling, but I learned how to camp in the cold at that event.

Other than the cold and wet, I remember having a blast being a camp thrall, being absolutely amazed at the wonderful things people were teaching in the Ithras, thinking 'How cool is this that a member would buy land with the underlying thought to using it for The Society's use', being sleep deprived but loving every minute, forming a deep and long abiding respect for Their Excellencies, Baron Gerhard, and Baroness Amanda, being in awe of taking a class taught by Queen Mahlika (sp?), learning that being a Loud Mouth has its uses, spending far too much on Merchants' Row, drinking far too much at the Tavern, being amazed at there being a class in Wenching and generally running myself ragged trying to Do Everything and Be Everywhere. (did I mention being sleep deprived?)

Other than my Birthday Event (Frogs' Hollow Tourney, which alas is no more), Clinton War has got to be The most memorable event I've ever attended.
