Populace Questions from Baronial Polling - Aquaterra 2024
For anyone thinking of running for the Coronets of a Barony, here are the populace questions that were asked of the candidates in 2024 in Aquaterra. Hopefully this will give anyone thinking about it some idea of what the you might get asked.

- How do you plan to engage underrepresented groups within our barony?
- What resources or support systems will you use to help members who face discrimination or exclusion?
- How will you work toward ensuring our events and activities are inclusive and accessible to everyone?
- How do you plan to lead by example in fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment?
- Are you able to take in and consider viewpoints and values different from your own?
- How would you handle a person of a marginalized background if they brought a situation to you that made them feel unwelcome?
- Aquaterra is full of fun traditions. What is one of your favorite traditions specific to Aquaterra (or An Tir)?
- Success looks different to many people. What does a successful reign as B&B look like to you?
- Baronial champions defend the honor of the barony. If you were vying for baronial champion, which championship would you participate in and why?
- It’s your SCA friend’s birthday and you’ve forgotten to get a gift! What are you going to make or do for them that uses your SCA-related skills?
- How can we give the newer players that sense of magic and wonder that we older players experienced back in the day?
- Give two (or more) examples of things you would do differently from past Coronets.
- Give two (or more) examples of things you think have been done well in the past and you would continue those things.
