The Barony of Vulcanfeldt (Yakima, Yakima County, WA) is located in the central region of An Tir.

Vulcanfeldt proudly claims the City of Yakima (Yakima, Washington) and its environs (Yakima County) as its own. Our lands stretch from Ellensburg/Cle Elum in the north to Grandview in the south, Tampico in the west to Moxee and beyond in the east. We are located approximately 145 miles southeast of Seattle, Washington; 200 miles southwest of Spokane, Washington; and 185 miles northeast of Portland, Oregon.

Born in year of Mount St. Helens' fiery eruption, 1980, the City of Yakima, is an area of rich volcanic soil. It is said that Yakima County ranks first in the United States in the number of all fruit trees and that it produces more apples, mint, winter pears, and hops than any other county.

In June of 1982, the name of Vulcanfeldt was registered, and in July 1990 a device was registered. In February 1997, the device was changed and the following device associated with Vulcanfeldt was registered, which better defined the agriculture area of Yakima County: Argent, an apples gules within a laurel wreath vert a chief wavy azure.
