July 28, 1974

“Kara Mahmet and his fourth wife, Nadyja, invite the crusaders in their land to a gathering of tents for a Middle Eastern Tourney at the Lakeside School (14050 lst NE) from 10:0AM 'til dusk. Have your tent raised and be prepared to present yourself to the Pasha at 11:00AM sharp! Lists mill begin at 12:00 to insure an early selection of a champion and leave more time for merriment. Come as a crusader or preferably in the garb of the middle east. Notice will be taken of all costumes and appropriate acknowledgements given. Come bearing a generous gift of food for the common feast (preferably middle east finger food). All food will be judged and golden coins bestowed. There will be music and dancing to delight you, with our guests encouraged to join in the entertainment. n.b. Lakeside is a private school situated in a residential neighborhood. Please keep this in mind and behave accordingly. For any additional information call Michael the Black.”
