Arts and Science Activities
- Wood turning - I originally started turning wooden pens and was hooked. I now turn many items on the lathe including pens, kitchen utensil handles, sword handles, spools, and anything else I can think of. My husband and I are always on the lookout for good branches which have recently been cut that we can acquire and turn into the next project.
- Tablet Weaving - While still new to this art it I enjoy turning my cards and watching a pattern develop. I will admit that warping my loom is my least favorite part and the only reason my house is not filled with yards and yards of trim.
- Costuming - I share this interest with my husband. Together we work to make various costumes including making patterns and various accessories.

Bardic:
I am a firm believer that anyone can participate in bardic if they would like. While my skills are not in the musical arts I use my love for learning and telling stories to entertain others. In particular I search for stories from various non-western cultures to bring an old story to a new audience.
