Event Copy
The Canton of Bearwood invites you to help us solve the conundrum that we find ourselves in: the cook seems rather incoherent. The Prehibernation menu makes no sense. The samples that have been set out for us to try have all been excellent, though the names are rather odd.
We need your help sorting things out. Attendees will be organized into teams/tables of 8 people. The team that correctly matches the most names to dishes will be rewarded. Each of the 8 people will receive a ‘basket’ of goodies. So far the ‘baskets’ include many of the things one might wish before starting hibernation: mead, scented goat milk soap, embroidered napkins, lemon curd, and pickled green beans; all of which have been made by the Canton.
Reservations will be accepted for individuals or whole teams of 8 people. Tickets are $15/ 12+ years old, $8/ ages 5-12 years old, under 5 years old, free. Please make checks payable to the ‘Canton of Bearwood SCA Inc,” NMS $5 will be collected.
