Thomas Sinclair began his SCA career in the Shire of Dragons Mist in A.S.34. He first got involved in Heavy Combat under the instruction of Squire Brian of Ledbury. Having chosen the persona of the a Templar. It was in this year that he became a member of House of Hunter. His first tournament was Bar gemels AS 34 at which he advanced to the semi finals in the novice tournament. In his second year he entered the novice tournament at Egils A.S.35.It was at that event that he knew he was going to be a member of the SCA for a long time to come. During his next three years he continued fighting, learning Heraldry, and brewing mead. Thomas traveled south to attend An Tir/West war, It was at this event that Brian of Ledbury showed him what it meant to "charge the gate". In A.S. 38 Thomas was given his AoA by then Alpine Hignesses William Geoffery the Rouge, and Nadezhda Volynskaiia during the reign of Davin Steingrimsson, and Groa. Thomas Continued his Fighting,always under the banner of the Principality of the Summits.
