Then suddenly, Tanist Kheron burst into court and tried to take the throne of Tir Righ while Prince Ulf was away on crusade. He was stopped by Her Highness's Guard. Amira Celdae asked that the Heirs wait until morning to take the thrones of Tir Righ when Prince Ulf would be able to join Her. She invited Tanist Kheron and his lady ban-Tanist Ksenia to join Her in court. His Excellency Tanist Kheron accepted, and the Heirs took their places in court.
Her Ladyship Katheryn Moore was then called forward. The Right Honourable Katherine was not present, so her lord, His Lordship Mackenzie came forward on her behalf. A parchment scroll from the King and Queen of the Atenveldt was presented for HL Katheryn being the creator of the Tir Righ coronets, which won the Crowns and Coronets Contest of the Known World at the recent Estrella War. Huzzah to Her Ladyship!
Tewl Gover orth Kernow of the Shire of Tir Bannog was welcomed by Amira Celdae and introduced to the populace as the new Kingdom Games Master.
On behalf of the Shire of Ravensweir, their Seneschale, Cerridwen Maelwedd, presented Sigrid of Arden with a token for members of the shire. The token was a necklace and handmade glass beads.
The Tir Righ Rapier Marshal, Lord Luther Magnus, presented Don Guidobaldo d'Aquila as the winner of the Rapier Tournament. Don Guidobaldo in turn gifted Amira Celdae with a necklace of blue beads and pearls as the Inspiration for the Rapier Tournament.
Their Highnesses Prince Ulf and Amira Celdae deemed the following gentles worthy of honour:
Lasilana Danica Tifunova (Ravensweir) - Award of Arms
Otto von Frickenmott (Ravensweir) - Award of Arms
Sir Hrothgar Thorvaldsson and Guillaume de la Flamme Rouge were sworn into their Principality Offices as High Marshal and Silver Yale Herald respectively. Her Highness thanked the outgoing Officers Sir Thorvald Hwolfson and Lí Ban ingen Echtigeirn for their efforts and hard work to the principality.
Her Highness Amira Celdae made welcome all new gentles for whom this was their first or second SCA event. Amira Celdae reminded all gathered, that without new blood, the SCA would not grow and flourish. These new gentles will step up to serve, when those in service have begun to tire. New gentles will keep the arts and sciences of Tir Righ enduring for years to come. These new gentles were presented with chocolate tithes and shells from shores of Tir Righ, in gratitude for their attendance by Their Highnesses.
The following gentles were presented with tokens by Her Highness Amira Celdae for their chivalrous acts and behaviour:
Jack from Ravensweir worked all day with the children doing various activities such as boffer fighting. He was gifted with a malachite ring.
Ian ap Griffin, a young lad, both helped a lady in need, and picked up all the toys without being asked. Young Ian was gifted with a medieval money bank.
Lady Olivia Dougall earlier in the day, saved a three year-old child who had fallen into the lake. Lady Olivia was gifted with a wood box.
It was then announced by Azure al Khabeelah that she has written a Tir Righ Songbook. The cost of the songbook is $25 and all profits will go to the Tir Righ Travel Fund.
On the first Anniversary of our fair principality, ban-Tanist Ksenia sponsored a Bardic contest for a new Anthem for Tir Righ. The winners were Lord Ming Lum Pee for the Anthem and Lady Gabriele Silverhand for the War song.
One of the joys of being Royalty is to gift those who have served You so well. Amira Celdae presented gifts to the following gentles for providing Herself and Prince Ulf with service, dedication and hard work during Their reign:

Another of the pleasures of the Princess is to award tokens of favour to those who served Her well during her Reign. The Princess' Talon of Favour was awarded to:

Her Ladyship Lí Ban ingen Echtigeirn was then inducted into the Order of the Silver Pillar for her work during Tir Righ's Crown Principality and Principality stages to help get the principality awards and badges in order. The award was accepted by another on her behalf.
Their Highnesses offer Their congratulations to all award recipients.
Amira Celdae had farewell words to the populace. Her Highness asked that all people continue to support the principality newsletter, The Northern Sentinel by continuing to purchase subscriptions, submitting content and continuing to list events; to continue to act with chivalry and courtesy, and to continue these behaviours with the future prince and princess Kheron and Ksenia.
Court Report
Tir Righ June Investiture
Shire of Ravensweir
June 13, 2004 AS 39
Court Report of Their Storm Highnesses of Tir Righ Prince Ulf and Amira Celdae.
This weekend marked the First Anniversary of the Principality of Tir Righ, and Their Highnesses celebrated the event by tossing largesse of chocolate coins to the populace there present.
His Highness Prince Ulf spoke words of gratitude for His time on the throne of Tir Righ, and bade farewell to the populace. Her Highness Amira Celdae too, voice Her thanks and related Her joy at being able to serve the populace of Tir Righ in such a manner.
After bidding farewell, the Coronet of Tir Righ called the Royal Retinue forth and thanked them for all their hard work and dedication during Their Highness's reign. Prince Ulf and Amira Celdae then released Their Royal Retinue from their Oaths of Fealty.
It was then time for His Excellency Tanist Kheron to approach with his guard. The resplendent Tanist kneeled at the behest of Prince Ulf, and then the Seneschal and High Marshal were called forth to bear witness to the identity of Tanist Kheron. Stalwart Prince Ulf removed the coronet from His head, and as the ceremonial words were spoken, relinquished the Coronet of Tir Righ. Ulf placed the coronet upon Kheron's head, investing Kheron as Prince of Tir Righ. Long live Prince Kheron!
Then Prince Kheron's inspiration was called forth to join Him on the throne of Tir Righ. The charming ban-Tanist Ksenia approached with her retinue and so too kneeled in order to accept the coronet of Tir Righ. Once again, the Seneschal and High Marshal were called forth, and were asked to bear witness to the identity of ban-Tanist Ksenia. Relinquishing Her right to the Coronet of Tir Righ, the elegant Amira Celdae passed the coronet into the care of Prince Kheron. The Prince then turned and invested His lady and love Ksenia as Princess of Tir Righ. Long live Princess Ksenia!
Let it be known throughout the land that Ulf Bloodfoot Fallgrson was invested as a Viscount of the Realm, and is to be known in the Old-English tradition as Thegn Ulf. Let it also be known that Celdae the Seeker was invested as a Viscountess of the Realm, and is to be known in the Arabic tradition as Naqiba Celdae. Princess Ksenia, Viscountess Kareina Talvi Tytär, and Hleafdige Thora Golvik of Al in Hallingdal were called forth and invited Naqiba Celdae to join them in the Order of the Valorous Estate.
Let there be a joyous noise for Thegn Ulf and Naqiba Celdae!
With my thanks,
HL Yolande Chastellain
