Kale Kepourina Akropolitissa [aka: Kale of the Eastern Winds] is a Byzantinian woman of greek/egyptian descent who enjoys life, with the finer things in mind. Her boastful attitude, fun, out-going spirit has never failed her as of yet. Although the corousing dosen't really help either, thats just a bonus for her.

Born in Anatolia, on the shores of the pennisula there-in, approx early 6th century. Her mother died shortly after her birth from complications due to a poor heart. After reaching the age of majority, she was able to help her father on his voyages to other countries for trade around the Mediterranean, along with her two older brothers as well.

In her spare time, she studies astronomy and practices the written/spoken languages of her fore fathers. Something interesting to note about Kale is her family tree. Her mother was from Egypt, when the Byzantian empire has taken the lands, while her father is a Greek, comes from the isle of Andros. Her name is broken down as such:

Kale - the leafy green vegetable, quite period actually :P
Kepourina - fem. form for "gardener" basically caretaker of nature
Akropolitissa - fem. of the "acropolis" (her father has greek roots)

Her intrests include dance, games, heraldry, corousing, cooking, costuming, illumination, martial activites, marshalling, running lists, arts and sciences, and researching greek/egyptian history.

She currently lives in : Lionsdale

The current year is 549 A.D. / 2006 C.E. / AS XLI

Please note, that Kale is an on-going research persona that Ayame is developing over the course of the winter and spring months to come. She will most likely "live" during the summer months of her time playing in the S.C.A.
