The Lady of Yama Hi
AS 36, I was borned Lezlie the Stronghearted in the Lands of Silverhart to my father a man who dealt in precious metals. Independent and strong when I came of age, I wanted to explore the world. I took a commission into the Known World Seafaring Forces and was assigned to a nameless vessel in the lands of the Barony of Dragon’s Laire. I had to work with flying dragons and was introduced to a young warrior of foreign nationality; his name was Sukeie, a buke living in the fair lands of An Tir for a long time. He was at times a bit too pushy and I had to ask for space (in fact he was so madly in love with me he was a pain at times). After a courtship and arrangements made with my father we were married and I gave him an heir, Joseph the Gentle heart now known as Roku in the lands of Wealdsmere and Silverhart. Little did I know he would be sent out to sea and leaving me with our newborn child, but I was strong for him so that he could do his duty without worries. I will support him.
September 11 AS 36: The Great Persian Beast
While Sukeie was out at sea I learned the horrible news; a heartless monster from the deepest of the Persian lands had taken fire breathing dragons and attacked the Kingdom of the East; many lives had been lost, i would have to leave my child in care so that I would provide support for those who now were on their way to behead the beast. We provided whatever they needed from our port; I patiently waited for news from the Far East as I work and care for our son. Until one night I learned that our warriors had stroke mighty and swift at the heart of the beast; without fear their only thoughts the safety of our Known World and those they left behind. My heart sank but I knew as a warrior myself that I would have to be strong for the two of us and represent our house as needed. As our crusaders dealt a deadly blow to the beast, it took its last breath and the people of the land were free. Many murmured of the actions taken, our warriors did that which was necessary to preserve our way of life and to ensure that others would know that any offense taken against humanity would not go unnoticed or unpunished. I only pray our warriors make it back safely. For now, the Known World was safe again.
The Kingdom of Atlantia and the Barony of Marinus
October AS 37, Sukeie and I found out we were to leave our home here in An Tir and move to the lands of the Kingdom of Atlantia. We will be serving under the banner of the Barony of Marinus, so we packed our wagon and headed east. After a long journey we arrived in Marinus where to my surprise learned that the people were not as hospitable as those in our lands. Many called us passerby and doubted our usefulness to the Dream, they said “you will be here for the term of your tour of duty and then you would move once again”, but we let them know our loyalty to the Dream was the same and even if for a short period of time our voice would carry with them the commitment of our lives to help in any way possible. We felt for the first time ever outcast. Here in Marinus we learned of the harsh treatment that can be given to some even without ill intention and vow to never let that happen in our presence to anyone again. M’Lord Sukeie and I settle and continue with our duties and supported many campaigns, we were very busy all the time, but found time to share with each other and to grow stronger together as a couple and we were blessed with Cali Cat the Hardheaded of Marinus (now known as Katara) and Aime Pooh the Curious and Innocent of Marinus (now known as Azula). Time pass and I miss my old friends in An Tir, we tried to make the best of it and made appearances from time to time at area events and tried to be as civilized as possible. We truly never felt welcome.
Canton of Silverhart, Barony of Wealdsmere
September 9, AS 41 during the reign of Amalric Blackhart and Caia Snowden, a day of joy me for and I think a bit of sadness for Sukeie as he was released from service, he had completed his career and it’s time to leave and set ground anew in whatever place we would like. It was no surprise to me when we decided to move back to An Tir, this is where our hearts reside, to the greatest Kingdom of the Known World, our new home in the beautiful lands of the Canton of Silverhart, Barony of Wealdsmere. Sukeie calls the Canton the last outpost in the Eastern frontier of An Tir and the first line of defense against invading forces from the east. The people are just as we remember, hospitable, friendly, high spirited; proud and brave. We have been welcome and our beliefs reinforced, there is no greater Kingdom than An Tir. I am proud to of these lands and joyous to be able to serve as Deputy Exchequer for the Canton of Silverhart.
