Barony of Montengarde Challenges three shires ( Valleywold , Myrgan Wood and Sigelhundas) to war. Sgt Cedric shoots and kills Master Thorvald in first shot. The Lights( Archers, slingers and Javelins) slay all but 3 of Montengarde. The Heavies yell" Charge Before Nothings Left!!". The Shires win.

• July 30- August 7 Clinton War Clinton,BC Annual War between the Barony of Lion's Gate and the Barony of Montengarde due to an error on a scroll. War for the "L" of it. Baroness' Walkdown from Old Castle to the new one. 1200 in attendance .
• November 16 - Recognized as Crown Principality
• April - Name Avacal registered with the College of Heralds. This name was taken from map drawn in 1566 by Bolognini Zaltiere (fl 1550-1580)[1]

"The late Sir Conrad von Graz found the word on a reproduction of an old Spanish map of parts of Western North America, and the word was placed (very very approximately) where Alberta is today, and he thought it sounded good as a name for the proposed region." (quote from Thorvald Grimsson, taken from the Avacal Circus. The territory was also shown on other late 16th century maps of North America, such as the 1562 Gutierrez map and the 1570 Ortelius atlas, Theatrum Orbis Terrarum.

AS XXIX/1994-1995

• Fall 1994 - Three deputies of the Seneschal, Ragnar the Bold, Mordecai Salzer and Heinrich Alois Kannessoh appointed to research the possiblitly of Avacal becoming a principality.

AS XXX/1995-1996

• November 1995 - Petition for Principality status submitted at An Tir Crown Council

AS XXXI/1996-1997

• Coronet: 1996/07/31 in Montengarde (Wetaskewin) Pigeon Lake Campground. Autocrats: Derek the Exile and Thorwulf Bjornsson

AS XXXVII/2002-2003

March - Barony of Montengarde hosts Kingdom Arts & Science Championship

AS XXXVIII/2003-2004

September - Barony of Borealis hosts September Crown at the Quad War site.
